B: Almost. I need to do some last minute shopping for my niece.
* Do some ~ing. 조금 ~ (작업)을 하다.
* last minute ~: 막판에 ~ 하는 것 
* 여자 조카: neice, 남자 조카: nephew
A: Does she still believe in santa?
* believe: 상대방의 행동을(지금 행동) 믿는다.
   -> I don`t believe you. 에이~설마~
   trust: 기본적인, 깊은, 근본적인 믿음을 표현
B: Of course, she does! She is only 6.

* totally = completely
* Thanks for the reminder -> 정말 많이 쓰는 표현
A: Go take a photo for your passport.
B: I will. I`d better do that immediately.

* You said you had to 동사원형: ~ 해야한다며.
B: Oh, my. I forgot about that one, too.

1. 나는 ~ 하는게 낫겠어.: I`d better ~
* I`d better tell him the truth soon.
* I`d better not have another cup of coffee.
* I`d better not eat/ drink/ ...
2. forgot to 동사원형: ~ 해야하는 것을 까먹을 때
 forgot + something: (물건 등)을 까먹었을 때 
3. I always do this. 내가 늘 이렇지 뭐.
