  -> It takes an hour to get there.
B: Oh, really? I think it`s a pretty good idea to take some time off, you know.
A: Thanks for understanding. I just want to try something different.

Easy English (영어회화 레벨2)

It wasn`t his choice. 그의 선택은 아니었어.

(문장)
Steve 가 관둔다는 소문이 있더라.: I`m starting to hear rumors about Steve quitting.
자기 의사가 아니었다던데.: I heard it wasn`t his choice.
그는 늘 자리에 없던데.: He was almost never at his desk.

(대화)
A: I`m starting to hear rumors about Steve quitting. 
    I heard it wasn`t his choice. Is that true?
B: Yeah. People said he was forced to quit.
A: You mean he got fired?
B: Yeah. Actually I`ve never seen him work that hard.
A: Come to think of it, neither have I. He was almost never at his desk.
* 생각해보니까-> Come to think of it
* 자리에 있다: Be동사 + at his desk/seat.
